Begin with the job of every page
Before changing layouts, decide why each page exists, who it serves, what question it answers, and which action should follow. Visual polish cannot compensate for an unclear information architecture or missing content.
Protect the value already earned
Inventory existing URLs, useful copy, links, metadata, structured data, and organic landing pages. Preserve important addresses where practical and create precise redirects when pages move. Do not migrate placeholder text, unsupported claims, or outdated locations simply because they exist.
- URL and redirect map
- Content keep, improve, merge, and remove decisions
- Metadata and heading review
- Form, call, and email testing
- Analytics and conversion tracking
- Mobile, keyboard, contrast, and performance checks
Launch is a checkpoint, not the end
After launch, review crawl reports, redirects, forms, analytics, real-device behavior, search visibility, and user feedback. A redesign becomes valuable when the team continues improving the experience after it reaches the market.
